My Background
I have NO reason to complain. The life GOD has blessed me with has been Amazing.!I was born in Sarasota, Florida, and before I was one year old, my family moved to Michigan, in order to join Life Action Ministries. This ministry's desire is to Ignite Movements of Authentic Christianity, and one of the ways they do this is by sending out three teams every year into diffrent churches for a period of time. In these churches the teams preach the message of revival. So I grew up in Michigan for eight years, along with my four sisters and one brother, home-schooled by my mom, while my dad worked at this ministry's headquarters. God provided for us so much in those years and continues to bless us still. At age eight, my family was asked if we would be willing to travel on one of the three road teams. We thought and prayed about this opportunity and saw Gods blessing on it. So, we were off! A family of eight traveling in a trailer nine months out of a year. We realized very quickly that road life was not easy. In fact it was HARD. We moved from a church every two weeks and that involved packing up the trailer, traveling to the next church in a matter of days, and then setting up the trailer at the next church, and the process would continue. There were a lot of other variables, but long story short, we caught on. I learned how to set up the trailer with my family and things started to move smoothly, that is without mentioning all the tecnical difficulties: the truck breaking down on multiple acounts, the tralier hitch breaking, exploding tires, etc... All this to say that God has been not only faithful but also generous to me and my family as we have traveled through dark clouds and sunshine both metaphorically and literally.
The Family
My oldest sister, Margo, is currently attending her third year of college at Boyce College in Louisville, Kentucky, and my second oldest sister, Shawna, has been traveling with this ministry for the past two years and now is heading off to college along with Margo. I'll tell you more about myself in the next section. Holly, the fourth child after me, has been working hard in high school and is currently a junior. Crista and Samuel, ages twelve and ten, are in middle school. The three younger kids still travel with my parents. We have completed nine years of traveling and seventeen years in this Ministry.
Breaking Off
Life on the road has been amaizing! I've gone to places other kids have only heard about. I have just finished my last year of high school and now I'm traveling with Life Action as an indepent team member along with other college age team members who are either mucisians or children ministers or who might have other tasks on the team. Like both of my sisters befor me, I plan on traveling for an extended period of time then heading off to college. Thankfully I have been accepted to travel with a road team as a bass player and a middle school minister!
My Heart
God has always been my Provider, Redeemer, Hope, and so much more, unlike my heart, which is decietfully wicked. I have been on a journey of learning, a Journey where I didnt take all the right paths. But a journey where I did find what I was looking for. In the past my heart has led me astray and my conviction was based on a fear of man. God has continually led and shown me the way to Him and today my relationship with the Lord is strong and cannot be broken. I'm on fire for my King and I am going to do what I can to bring Him glory because He Deserves it! So I challenge you to do the same. Stop following your heart and discern the will of God. Stop living for yourself and live for the Lord. Then your life will have purpose.
Minutes Left
The Question might be asked, "Why Minutes Left?" Well, the reason behind this name is simple. People don't realize that there lives could have but minutes left before they meet their Maker (God). We live as if we are in controll of the time we've been given when in reality people are dying every day. I want people to realize that we only have minutes left. So I pose to you this question, 'Do you live your life as if you only had minutes left?'
